Hooaja esimene start tehtud, selleks oli Porto regiooni xco karikasarja avaetapp. Kuna eelmine aasta võitsin Porto regiooni meistrivõistlused, siis sõitsin regiooni meistrisärgis. Mõnus valge särk sai vihmase ilmaga korralikult sopaseks. Oli selline jahe ja vihmane, start ka päris vara, alguses kirjas kell 9 aga nagu regioonivõistlustel ikka oli neil seal tegemist veel ja minema saime peale poolt kümmet, enne sai korralikult juba külmetada.
Esimese võistlusega olen rahul, korralik pingutus ja enesetunne juba lubab varsti selle hooajaga korralikult peale hakata.
Konkurentsi oli naistes hõredamalt, kuid võistluskäigus sain tempot teha ja jagada esimese meesharrastajaga, et päris üksi ma seal metsa vahel ei pidanud sõitma.
Alati tore hooaja esimene start võiduga lõpetada!

First start of the season is done, first cup race of the Porto regional xco. As I won the Porto region championships last year, so I rode in the region champion jersey. Nice white jersey got all muddy with the rainy weather. It was quite chilly and rainy, start was quite early as well, it said on paper 9 o clock but as usual in the regional races they had still things to do and we got off something half past nine, the warm up was all gone from the body and it was freezing.
For the first race it was good pace and good pushing, the feeling already promises to start the season full on in a little while.
Didnt have too many women, but as the race went on I got to make and share the pace with the first hobby men rider, so I didnt have to ride there alone in the forest.
It is always nice to finish the first race of the season with a win!
