No nii proovin siin lühidalt, kuid täpselt kõik kirja panna, uni kipub juba silma ja homme algab Portugal Tour MTB, seega nii palju puhkust kui võimalik on parim.
Laupäeval rada vaadates, ütleme nii et ei olnud minu päev. Rada oli mudane ja libe, palju pidi jõuvarusid juba võistluseelsel päeval kasutama.
Pühapäeval soojendusel tundsin, et jalad on rasked, kuid kõik eelmise päeva emotsioonid olin nulli saanud ja olin võidusõiduks valmis. Stardis oli palju rahvast, olümpiapunnide saaks meelitab paljusid. Stardist jäin päris taha, kuid juba esimeste kilomeetritega sain ette poole, palju oli jooksu, vihm oli mülkaks raja teinud. Siin tulid mu jooksutrennid kasuks ja tundsin end tahtega võidelda iga koha eest. Seda ka tegin ja lõpus tubli kuues, väga rahule jäin endaga. Seekord valisin rattaks oma hardtaili, kuna sellisel rajal, paljude jooksukatega, oli sellega kiirem.
Nüüd puhkama ja homsest Liisaga paarissõitu tegemas.
So I ll try to give short but precise overview, as my eyes are already full of sleep and tomorrow starts Portugal Tour MTB, so all the rest available is the best.
Saturday looking the course , well lets just say it was not my day. The track was muddy and slippy, had to use a lot of power already on course check.
On Sunday warm up I could feel the legs heavy, but I had zerod all the negative emotions from the previous day and I was ready for racing. There was a lot of people at start, the Olympic points are inviting many athletes. From start I got way back, but already with first kilometers I got back some spots, there was a lot of running, the rain had made the track a mud pool. So my running trainings were of help and I felt the will to fight for every spot. That what I did, and great sixth place at finish, I am very happy with me. This time I chose my hardtail as with so much run on this track it was the faster one.
Now to rest and from tomorrow doubles race with Liisa.
