Rada üllatus väga positiivselt, tehtud oli küll Lillehammerisse, kuid mitte linnatänavatele nagu arvasin, hoopis oli maastikul ja palju huvitavaid kohti, kõige rohkem vajas vaatamist mitme rajatrajektooriga tõus, mis oli pärast paari kurvi stardisirgelt. Kõik oli hea, vaid oma totaka vea pärast kaotasin võimaluse edasi jõuda. Eks ma olin endaga pahane, kuid sõitsin peale ja sain rahumeele tagasi ning hiljem finaali sõite tv-st vaadates oli veel seal kohas koperdajaid, seegi tõendas, et ei olnud just kerge koht.
Lõppkohaks saingi oma 22.
The xce course surprised me pleasantly, it was in Lillehammer, but not on the city streets like I thought, it was off-road and with lot of interesting places, the most attention needed a multi-option lines up hill that was after some curves after the start straight. After the up hill was speedy section besides lake, then little bits of woods and down hill with some logs, turns and rock garden, where was no passing possibility, just on the turn to the finish straight could offer possibility to pass, it had also wall which was slower than cutting the turn.
Qualification went ok, there were some sections I knew I could be faster, I got number 22, my favorite number. I was ready for the finals, I had practiced new technique with Andre after Meribel, so I felt more confident with my start. I picked my position third and I liked my gate. I got great start and was second in the first turns, but I made mistake on the up hill with the rocks, even took my foot out from pedal and next girl passed me and she did not make any mistakes later and I did not have a possibility to pass her.
All was good, just with my mistake I missed out the possibility to get to next round. I was upset with myself, but after some cool down ride, I got my peace with me back and after looking the finals on tv, then there were more people stuck in that part, so it was not an easy place.
My final result was 22.
