Minu jaoks on siis euroopakad alanud.
XCE rada algas staadionilt, siis järsk kurv paremale, lauge tõus, lõpus kurviga järsem tõus, siis treppidest alla, paar siksaki alla, kus ka hüpekas ehitatud, siis lauge tõus, kus kaks väiksemat ehitatud hüpekat, siis järsk nukk alla vasakule, seal all kohe kurv paremale ja veel üks järsk nõks alla, kus kohe laugema peal 3 palki maas 2m vahedega, siis väike põnts ja siis juba tagasi staadioni äärel ja 50m finishisirge staadionil. Kokku kõik 890m.
Kvalifikatsioonil sain aru, et esimene kurv võib olla huvitav. Lõpetasin oma kvalifikatsiooni 21. kohal. Sain 1/8 finaali koos 5. koha väljasõitnud Neffi ja 12. koha väljasõitnud Brüchlega. Stardist olid mõlemad minust kiiremad, esimesse kurvi võtsid mõlemad ideaaltrajektoori, ma lõikasin paremalt nad kinni, saime Neffiga koos kurvi võetud, enne järsku kurvi laugel tõusul möödus sakslane teiselt poolt Neffi ja kurvis olin lõigatud kolmandale possale. Laskumistel ja siksakidel ei olnud võimalust mööduda, istusin ja ootasin oma korda ja siis see tuli, peale kahte väikest hüpekat, võtsid nad jälle ideaaltrajektoori järsule nõksule, ma spintisin ja lõikasin raja neil ära, Neff veel üllatusest karjatas, et tähelepanu juhtida. Kuna all uus kurv, siis Neff sai mööda, kuna olin tulnud ju teist trajektoori mööda. Siis veel nõks alla ja palgid ja spurt finishisse sakslane tuules ja lõpus oli tal jõudu mööduda, napilt kuid kindlalt jäin välja.
Eks kindlasti oleks ju tahtnud edasi sõita, kuid olin teinud kõik ja sõitnud hästi, üllatanud ennast heade ja teisi leides lahendusi möödumiseks, seega olen päeva lõpus rahul.

XCE course started from stadium, then sharp turn right, slight up with a steep corner end, then stairs down, couple of zigzags down with a built jump, then slight up with 2 built jumps, then left steep down with corner at the bottom and then another steep down straight to 3 logs on the flat with 2m distance, then little up and once again to stadium and 50m finish straight.
All together 890m.
In qualification I understood that first corner can be interesting. I ended my qualification with 21st time. I got to 1/8 finals with Neff from 5th position and Brüchle from 12th position. From start they had better acceleration, going into the first corner they both went for the ideal line, I cut them off from right and got to take the corner besides Neff, then before the steep corner, German got past the other side of Neff and I was left outside and found me in 3rd position again. Then in the downhill parts there was no possility to make anything so I waited and searched my time. Just after the 2 little jumps they again went for the ideal line to the steep down, I cut them both, Neff yelled with alert, as there was another turn in the end then Neff got past, then down and logs and all out to to the end, German found in the last 50 m strength to get past, I was so close but out from the race.
Of course I would have wanted to continue, but I had done all and rode well, and surprised myself and others with some good solutions to get past, so in the end of the day Im content.
