Päris toreda elamuse andis tänane sõit. Viisteist minutit enne starti lubati kaarti vaadata, mina vaatasin lihtsalt protsessi pealt, kuidas seda rada siis endale kirja pannakse. Start oli naljakas, anti pauk ja kõik panid eri suundades minema. Naljakas. Ja siis juba punkte koguma, alguse kahe punkti juures oli ikka teisi rohkem näha, kuid enamus sõidust oli ikka lihtsalt meie kolmekesi ja loodus, ja siis teisi oli punktide juures näha, kuskil kahe tunni möödudes tuli suur ports vastupidi vastu, ehk nad oli punkte teisipidi koguma hakanud. Kui algul mõtlesin, et "oh jessas 4 tundi", siis sõidu ajal ei saanud arugi, kogu aeg oli midagi teha ja piiksutada, et kui viimane tund pihta hakkas, siis tekkis tunne, et meil on nüüd küll kiire. Väga lahe oli, mulle meeldis.
Aa ja segavõistkondade arvestuses võitsime ära ja üldarvestuses tubli viies koht mingi 140 võistkonna seas!
It was fun experience today. Fiftteen minutes before the start we could open the maps, I just watched how the men set the course through all the points. Start was funny, the gun went off and all the people started riding to different directions. Funny. Then started to collect the points, in the first two there was more people around, but after that it was mostly us three and nature, mostly saw other at the points, after some two hours quite a lot of people rode in the opposite direction, so they had decided to collect the points other way around. When before I thought "oh jees 4 hours", then it did not feel so bad on course, there was always something to do and peep the thingy, when the last hour began I was feeling like we had so little time left. It was really cool, I loved it.
Oh and in the mixed category we won and in overall we were the fifth team from some 140 teams!
