Selja taga ka maratoni eestikad!

Teadsin, et on oodata kihutamist ja lootsin heale vihmale, paar päeva enne ikka sadas, kuid väga palju see aeglasemaks sõitu ei teinud, natuke ehk ikka.

Stardikiirendusest suhteliselt hästi minema, aga seal meeste virr-varris läks ikka naiste arvestuse asi sassi, ei teadnud ma kes eespool kes tagapool, noh päris esimeseks ma ennast ei arvanud, kuna nii kiirelt ka sinna vahele ei suskinud. Mingitel hetkedel oli raske, päris palju sõitsin üksi, mis võttis ka kiirust allapoole ja vahet esimestega, aga olin endaga rahul. Lõpus sain natuke neljandal kohal ka sõita, aga tagant tulnud põhisõidu poisid tõid järgmise naise jälle kannule ja siis oli tal rohkem särtsu et asi lõpuni viia. Top5. Võiks paremini aga võiks ka kehvemini, heh et sel päeval tegin kõik mis suutsin ja nüüd juba olen reisil, et tagasi Lõuna-Euroopasse minna.

Kahjuks jääb mul Mega-avalanche ära, mida minu Miranda tiim sel nädalavahetusel sõidab, aga kalendris hetkel meil veel paar elekrtiratta võidusõitu, et siis seadistan end jälle sellele rattale ja laen akut , haha.

Also marathon championships done!

I knew that will be a fast race, but I hoped for the rain, few days before it even rained quite a lot, but it did not make the race significantly slower.

From the start I got away well, but in the mix of the men, I couldn’t tell which women were in front which behind me, well I didn’t think that I was first as I didn’t fly that fast. In some points I struggled, and quite a lot of times I was riding alone, which made the pace slower and lost more time for the front women in groups, but I was ok with myself. More in the end I also passed to fourth place, but then some youngsters came with high speed and brought the other lady back to my wheel and in the end she had more spark to finish. Top5. Could have been better, could have been worse, well I did my best on the day, and now I am already in travel to get back to south of Europe.

Unfortunately I have to stay home when my team Miranda is at Mega-Avalanche, but we have some other races on electrical bikes in the calendar for August, so I will set me up to ride on the that bike and load the battery, hehe.
