Avalanche Licor Beirao 2017

ma olen see valge kiivriga (pilt siin all on tehtud peaaegu samal ajal)
I am the one in white helmet (the foto below is taken almost at the same moment)

And the season is officially over! And with a win and new jersey (the makers of the jerseys are a bit delayed, so I still get to receive it).
Avalanche - one of my favorite races, that feeling that you get in start, you got to experience to fully understand. The excitement, fear, eagerness, adrenaline - uff I get the shivers when I think about it.
This year the track was a bit different as normal, start and end and lots of bits and pieces of course the same. When the original date was changed, I decided to make my rest from the season, with some activities, but not systemized. I could feel it, I didnt have that much power as I could on the pedal parts. But nothing too bad. The single tracks were wet and lots of off camber roots.
As I dont have my own enduro or dh bike, so havent trained on softer bikes, then on Saturday it was hard to get use to. But I was ok on Sunday, because I like so much avalanche, my head was the one that was really prepared. I had fought my starting number from last year, the top 50 have secure numbers, the others are all by the registration time, but other women had been fast, I had like 4 women around me starting.
Off from the start and then you dont have a clue who is in front and who behind, I just gave my all and to the end. I managed to repeat my good result and finished 38th like last year.
Thank you! :)
