Rada oli lahe, veel lahedam kui ta oli sellel külavõistlusel, millel kaasa tegin. Palju kivi ja juurikaid ja tegemist kogu rajal. Eelmise aastaga võrreldes olid meistrivõistlused lahjemad konkurentsi poolest, arvasin, et ka seekord tuleb näiteks Lucia kohale ja saab lahingu anda. Seega oli suht üksi sõit, samas üks kohalik, kes oli rada korralikult harjutanud ja selleks võistluseks parimasse vormi ajanud, ei olnud kaugel, seega pidin ikka väntama. Esimesed kaks ringi neljast oli selline konarlik ja oli peaaegu kukkumisi ka seal kivide vahel, kuid siis sain oma sujuvuse ja nautisin kannatamist ja liuglemist kivide vahel.
Võitsin veel ühe särgi selle hooaja saavutuse lehele.
Peale võistlust oli kohe palju sagimist ja pakkimist ja algaski reis Lasnamäele. Reis oli väga väsitav nagu teadsin ette, samas sujus hästi, ummikutesse ei jäänud, vaid suur vihm Leedus oli väga hirmutav ja tegi reisi pikemaks. Seal on kõige hullem ka liiklus, märgatav vahe kogu ülejäänud Euroopaga, ei huvitanud neid ei liiklusmärgid ega teised liiklejad.
Kuid kõik läks hästi ja saan nüüd natuke armast Eestimaad nautida.
The track was fun, even more than on the little race that I had made before on the track. Lots of rocks, roots and being attente all the time. Compared to last year the championships had less riders, I thought that Lucia will take part as well, so it would be a battle. So it was quite lonesome ride, but nevertheless one local had trained a lot on the track and had good legs, she was not far of me, so I had to pedal hard as well. First two laps of the four were a bit akward on the bike, but then I got my flow and enjoyed suffering on the climbs and the smooth ride between all the rocks.
Won myself another jersey for this years books.
After the race I had lots to do and pack and the drive to Tallinn began. The trip was tiresome as I knew it would be, but all went well, no big traffic jams, only a horrific rain in Lithuania, that cost some extra nerves and time. There is also the worse drivers of Europe, they dont care about the traffic signs nor the other cars.
But all went well and I get now some time to be in lovely Estonia.
